My personal interest in photography has been gaining momentum in the last year, and I'm really seeking to learn as much as I can about it. Which brings me back to you... I would like to gain more technical proficiency in the art, and I'm wondering if you can recommend the best route one should take in terms of event/street/culture photography. I do a lot of personal stuff, do occasional contracts with CBC Radio 3, but I'm still quite insecure technically. Would you recommend finding a studio to assist, a photographer to assist, go off on my own and create projects and learn the technical bits on my own, or to actually take formal classes? Being a travel addict, I'm really willing to go anywhere to intern for a month or so, if I will indeed learn something. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. A work contract ends shortly, and it's time to start planning... Again, hope you're doing well!
